Communications Specialist, Sr (Finance)

Contributes to the development of the internal communication and engagement strategy; consults with leaders at all levels to craft and deliver timely, effective, and meaningful communication plans; writes and edits stories, e-bulletin features, profiles, measures and evaluates communications to support Brookdale Senior Livings strategic goals, associate engagement, mission and culture.Acts as the communications partner for multiple functional areas initiatives.Collaborates with executive, senior and functional leaders to create, manage and implement communication plans that fully engage associates to support Brookdales business strategies and goals, mission, and culture.Partners with leadership at multiple levels in identifying opportunities to improve associate engagement, company performance, cohesion and culture related to assigned projects and initiatives.Supports company intranet with story content and content management.Develops and maintains an editorial calendar that maps communications projects, initiatives and recurring themes for each major function they support.Identifies communication gaps, develops clear, concise messages and content and uses appropriate vehicles to support initiatives.Executes strategic communication projects with key stakeholders and executives in cross functional areas.Successfully produces user-friendly communications for complex programs to meet the needs of varied audience segments.Supports large-scale associate meetings (including Zoom), company events, charitable events and activities, and companywide giving projectsThis job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
