ERP Application Administrator (Finance)

SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America.

Job Description Summary:
SOLV Energy is looking for an ERP Application Administrator to provide technical support, promote technology awareness, adoption, and effective use while continuously improving our business technologies and processes. Effectively support the day-to-day needs of our enterprise, employees and company leaders by improving operations through technology tools.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support the administering of enterprise application licensing.
• Responsible for administering and maintaining user access and removal requests, manage permissions based on user roles and responsibilities within assigned enterprise applications.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support through voice, email, and ticketing system. Support end users by troubleshooting, recreating user errors, and tracking issues in FreshService.
• Executes quality control practices and procedures for all applications and platforms. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for app crashes and / or device errors in collaboration with the development team.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of application knowledgebases, FAQ's and documentation. Create and maintain support materials including self-help knowledge articles.
• Assist project teams and management with data extraction and report generation.
• Participate in platform improvement and development scoping exercises as a subject matter expert with an emphasis on providing voice of customer user feedback.
• Support the talent development team with the creation, administration, and delivery of job role specific application training. Assist in the training of new jobsite teams and field technicians on use of our SOLV Energy applications.
• Coordinate with IT, internal and external Software Development teams for fixes and enhancements to SOLV Energy applications & other interconnected systems.
• Build relationships throughout the company that will assist with understanding business challenges and being aware of innovations happening on the front lines.
• Promote awareness around enterprise applications and adoption of critical tools, technologies, and best practices. Support the development and implementation of solutions to business challenges.
• Participate in technology projects as an applications subject matter expert through research, design, development, testing, delivery and/or training of new and modified business processes, reports, and tools.
• Answer employee questions or facilitate resolutions regarding applications and processes. Work with other technology team members, subject matter experts in the company, and/or 3rd party vendors to get employee questions/issues resolved.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Training Specific:

• Assist in the development of training plans and materials for business technologies and processes.
• Coordinate/provide training for external partners as necessary for critical technologies and processes.
• Maintain a network of local subject matter experts in your region for critical technologies and business processes.
• Keep training programs current and engaging.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in an application or IT support role.
• Experience utilizing and managing tickets within industry leading ITSM solutions.
• Familiarity with the ITIL Framework and five core pillars: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations, and Service Improvement.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and professional telephone disposition
• Ideal candidate has extensive experience managing and working in common ERP and HRIS / HCM solutions from a technical perspective.
• Travel to offices and jobsites as necessary (job may occasionally require travel).
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate work efforts
• Experience with writing technical solution articles, user documentation and training material.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft O365 tools and experienced in troubleshooting these applications.
• Experience using task management tools including but not limited to; MS Teams, Smartsheet, or others.

Preferred Skills or Experience:

• Working knowledge of SQL performance monitoring, tuning, and database troubleshooting.
• Experience writing SQL statements. (PSQL desired).
• General knowledge of ERP database schemas.
• Experience working in RDMS (Oracle Developer, SQL Management Studio, Valentina Studio, etc.).

$77,448.00 - $96,804.00
