Case Manager I - Merced PEI (Manufacturing)
Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work or related field preferred. Will accept equivalent experience.
Knowledge of community resources preferred.
Cultural sensitivity, awareness and knowledge.
Bilingual preferred.
Lived experience that aligns with and provides a connection with population being served.
A valid California driver's license is required of staff who have regular driving duties, and the driving record must meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency's insurance company.

Ability to instruct small groups of children Kindergarten to 12th grade in required curriculum.

Operate a vehicle for company-related activities, including attend offsite meetings, client home visits and transport to and from other agency locations.
Responsibilities:
Instruct required curriculum to students through a systematic selection process that are experiencing mild to moderate school adjustment difficulties.
Working with direct, close supervision, instruct children (from a variety of age groups, socio-economic and racial backgrounds, and geographic settings) on core social and emotional skills to prevent violence and aggressive behavior, improve academic performance and enhance life skills.
Establish rapport and warm, meaningful relationships with referred students.
Talk with students and establish an atmosphere to encourage their expression of feelings and ideas.
Help build confidence in students through small group interactions.
Provide feedback to program team, including principal, teachers and other school personnel.
Assist in student selection and evaluation.
Responsible for program record keeping.
Must implement program goals and objectives to meet and maintain contractual requirements and productivity.
Provide access, advocacy, resources and linkage to clients.
Provide initial screenings and treatment planning for clients.
Attend community events, provide outreach services to include identifying areas that need to be strengthened, in addition to setting and reaching targeted goals. May need to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Administer program measurements tools and surveys to track and report program data and outcomes.
Interact productively within a multi-disciplinary team and other community organizations.
Maintain record and tracking systems that meet standards of the agency, The Joint Commission and contract.
Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.
Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.
Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention
Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
