Construction Electrical Engineer Secret Clearance Required (Finance)
Tetra Tech is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support the U.S. Department of State's Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) during the Athens Major Rehab Project. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with design specifications and U.S. codes throughout the lifecycle of the construction project.

Your Impact:
As the Electrical Engineer, you will monitor and inspect electrical construction work, validate compliance with contract documents, and ensure high-quality project outcomes. Your expertise in low and high voltage systems, as well as fire alarm and telecom infrastructure, will directly support the project's successful delivery.
Proposal Summary:
The Civil Engineer will support the renovation efforts for a historic U.S. diplomatic facility by performing on-site technical inspections, reviewing engineering submittals, and overseeing quality assurance. This is a 24-month assignment based in Athens, Greece, with the potential for extension. A minimum of seven (7) years of construction site experience is required.

Position Summary:
This is a 24-month assignment based in Athens, Greece. The Electrical Engineer will perform critical technical oversight, manage quality assurance, and support the OBO/Athens team in a fast-paced, high-security environment. Seven (7) years of field experience in commercial construction is required.
Responsibilities:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited U.S. university (ABET-accredited or substantially equivalent).
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience on active construction sites.
• Conduct technical inspections of electrical systems including high/low voltage equipment and life-safety systems.
• Review design drawings and contractor submittals for compliance.
• Oversee contractor's quality control and safety programs.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. construction standards and local regulations.
• Submit weekly progress reports with technical findings and recommendations.
• Participate in project meetings and site inspections.
