Continuous Improvement Intern (Summer 2025) (Manufacturing)

Essential to this Position

The Continuous Improvement Intern will be responsible for assisting the Operations Team with projects starting in summer of 2025.

Areas of Learning/Responsibilities

• Work with operations to identify best practices driving standard work.
• Assist in continuous improvement events.
• Work with production to understand bottlenecks within processes.
• Work with peers and other departments to improve safety, quality, and performance.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in operations management or another related degree.
• Ideal candidate will be in their 3rd or 4th year of college, but willing to consider other candidates based on prior experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel between Neenah and Hartford locations regularly.
