Role/ Department: Sr Corporate Philanthropy Analyst/Corporate Sustainability, Inclusion, and Social Impact
The Sr Corporate Philanthropy Analyst facilitates Foundation grants cycles by answering general inquiries, application reviews and collecting additional documentation. This individual will participate in reviewing grant proposals for funding from non-profit organizations alongside program officers and assists in preparing Foundation Board deck. Additionally, will assist the team in managing corporate programs, such as Achieving Greater Together, High School
Internship Program, Grantee Forum logistics, updates Corporate Philanthropy Global SharePoint sites and support the creation of philanthropic communications content for internal and external channels (social media, NT.com, Philanthropic Impact Report, Anchor Point).
The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Participates in reviewing proposals for funding from non-profit organizations under the direction of other program officers and assists them in preparing Foundation Board deck
• Facilitates Foundation grants cycles by answering general inquiries, application reviews and collecting additional documentation
• Runs and creates formal funding history reports from our philanthropy database
• Assists the team in managing corporate programs, such as High School Internship Programs, Grantee Forum logistics, updates Corporate Philanthropy Global SharePoint sites and Achieving Greater Together volunteerism/committee meetings.
• Assists in the Coordination of Achieving Greater Together global campaign under the direction of the Global Volunteerism Lead and provides support for executive bespoke volunteer events
• Uses volunteer management system, including reviewing and approving volunteer event submissions, setting up events, pulling reports, and assisting other partners on utilizing the system
• Collects, compiles, and analyzes data and information for reports and presentations
• Supports the creation of philanthropic communications content for internal and external channels (social media, NT.com, Philanthropic Impact Report, Anchor Point)
• Additional duties: Special event support, processes department invoices and charitable donation payments, monitors and manages general correspondence, performs related duties and assignments as required
Skills/Qualifications:
• 2 years' experience in either non-profit organization, community relations, or in the philanthropic sector
• Knowledge of philanthropy, non-profit community and fund-raising process.
• Knowledge of software used to record information and prepare reports.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with outside organizations.
Working Model: Hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)
We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.
Salary Range:
$61,500 - 98,300 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
