What you will do
PGIM Fixed Income is seeking an Associate Manager, Alternative Operations Specialist who will be primarily responsible for providing regulatory and tax support functions for the organization and to serve as one of the primary points of contact for internal and external business partners. Additional Operations and Accounting/Administrator support work may be required.
What you can expect
Assist in the facilitation of quarterly and annual SEC and NFA regulatory filings, including Form PF, CPO-PQR and Form ADV (where applicable)
Well-versed in Private Fund regulatory reporting requirements, including: Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Liquidity Funds, and Other Private Funds
Familiar with AIF/AIFM and other EMEA regulatory reporting requirements, including Annex IV
Point of contact with the various Compliance and Tax teams within the Company to address/discuss new regulations, reporting requirements and guidance/interpretation of rules
Vendor management for the various third-party tools and portals used for fund registrations and filings (Consensus, DITC, IRS portal, etc)
Oversee service providers who are responsible for FATCA and Common Reporting Standards filings
Calculate, support and assist in filing of Form 5500
Knowledge of regulatory and reporting standard across different jurisdictions (CIMA, CBI, AIFMD)
Fund specific filings including tax documents (W-9s, 8832s, SS-4s), GIIN registration and renewals, LEI applications, etc.
Work with Legal and Compliances teams to identify new funds in scope
Support accounting & administration platform of multiple master/feeder and umbrella structures.
Monitor / validate weekly & monthly NAV process for funds.
Reconcile settled cash and positions daily between our internal record keeping system and Prime Brokers/Custodians
What you will bring
Undergraduate degree required. (Accounting, Economics or Finance preferred).
5+ years prior experience in a Regulatory or similar type role required
Superior computer skills required.
VBA programming and database experience preferred.
Experience in supporting Hedge Funds and/or Offshore Fund Structures preferred
Knowledge of fixed income products and derivatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.
Ability to drive process improvement.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $110,000 to $125,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
