General Maintenance Technician - Embassy Suites by Hilton Santa Clara Silicon Valley (Finance)
The Embassy Suites Santa Clara is expanding their engineering and maintenance team! Our Silicon Valley suites are less than two miles from Levi's Stadium. We're just off the Bayshore Freeway, 10 minutes from the Santa Clara Convention Center and California's Great America. Palo Alto and downtown San Jose are a 15-minute drive away. Our property has 258 suites, over 4,000 square feet of event space, and 5 meeting rooms.
Ideal candidates have full availability, have previous experience working in hotels, and have basic engineering experience.
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Shift Pattern: Full Availability - No Overnight shift

What will I be doing?
As a Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for assisting in the overall maintenance of the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders from the work order database in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
- Learn to perform various repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC work, and masonry.
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
