Maintenance Manager - Kilgore (Finance)
Roles & Responsibilities
o Walking and inspecting each plant periodically to ensure the plant is set up to perform the "basics" of preventive maintenance.
o Sets up all new stationary equipment and preventive maintenance work order intervals into the Fiix program for each Agg location in Region.
o Research stationary equipment at each site to find recommended maintenance intervals and procedures to put into Fiix (crusher, screens, conveyors, etc. inspections).
o Set up Fiix at each plant "site-specific" to the equipment on site. The service intervals of the equipment on site will be monitored by either calendar days or hour meter readings.
o On-site training with manager and maintenance personnel on how to use Fiix including the web-based version and the mobile app. This training will include using Fiix for work orders that are auto generated (i.e. inspections, greasing, etc.) and also using the Fiix app on mobile devices out in the plants to create work orders when an issue is found (i.e. hole in chute, bad roller).
o Explain and train on what goes into a proper work order. These are:
o Good description of the issue found
o Pic of LOTO and completed THINK form (safety element)
o Before and after pics of issue and completed project
o Add additional items into Fiix as requested by mine management. This can be 5S inspections, environmental inspections, cleaning intervals, belt scale calibrations, etc.
o Explain how Fiix can be used for maintenance records and documentation.
o Explain how Fiix can be used for planning maintenance projects in the future using hour meters.
o Setting up electric motor preventive maintenance at each location for >50 HP motors.
o Assist in setting up oil sampling program at each aggregates location and add to Fiix.
o Setting up mobile equipment PM's at operations that request it. This can be used by on-site mobile mechanics to schedule and conduct PM's or help managers schedule outside contractors to come onsite to service the mobile fleet.
o Explain and train managers how Fiix is a great tool to help manage the operations and can be a huge asset to increase operating efficiencies.
o Determine operating and maintenance training needs for stationary equipment (crushers, screens, etc.). Contact outside vendors or internal experts to facilitate the necessary training.
o Monthly check-in with VP of Aggregates as to progress of Fiix implementation and status report of usage in East Region.
Skills/Competencies
o High School Diploma, required.
o 10+ years' experience in Aggregate operations with extensive experience in plant maintenance
o 10+ years of experience in Mining management is ideal, as well as the ability to build and grow a mining operations team.
o Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is imperative to the success of this role.
o Overnight travel required, up to 50% within the West Region
