Logistics Analyst - Supply Chain Position Summary Under the direction of the Delivery Logistics Manager the Logistic Analyst ensures that the departmental and organizational strategic objectives are achieved through operational analysis, tactical projects, daily routing maintenance and enhancement of logistic software systems. Essential Functions Works daily with the Logistics Software systems including but not limited to: Omnitracs-OT1, Access Database, Microsoft Power BI, VIP, Pivot Tables, SharePoint, & Roadnet Mobile Assigns appropriate drivers, equipment and regions to delivery routes in the routing system to ensure optimal routing. Enters routing information into routing system to create delivery routes that meet customer needs and fleet capabilities while maximizing customer service and minimizing delivery costs. Assists drivers, managers and other employees regarding procedures, order parameters, expectations, and software technical support. Conducts regular communication sessions with Routing Coordinators and/or Territory Delivery Managers to facilitate operational knowledge and process improvement Manages and maintains routing and ordering systems; ensures functionality and reliability of Logistics software systems. Analyzes existing Delivery, Sales, & Merchandiser routes and determines future plans to increase efficiency and meet customer needs. Responsible for defined periodic reviews and outcomes implementation for delivery territories and sales territories leveraging Omnitracs, VIP, and associated software systems and data. Responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing procedural documentation of operational processes. Maintains and ensures data integrity standards of Omnitracs and VIP software systems Creates Microsoft Power BI analytics for analysis to enhance operational standards pertaining to: Omnitracs, Delivery, Sales, and Merchandising standards, and mobile platform data Lead or Co-lead primary change management initiatives Builds functional relationships with the G & J Pepsi software publisher vendors to maximize and leverage the support & maintenance contracts. Education 4 Year / Bachelors Degreein Distribution Management, Supply Chain management, or Logistics management, or Supply Chain Industry Certification: Level 1 CSCMP Certificationrequired. Preferred Industry Certifications: Supply Chain or Logistics certifications, Lean 6-Sigma or Agile Certifications Experience 1 - 3years of front-end software management experience in a distribution or DSD environment and/or academic studies pertaining to logistics management and logistics analysis. Computer Skills Preferred : Omnitracs - OT1, VIP. & Access Experience Required: Dynamic Routing / Logistics Software systems, Cloud Software Systems and/or academic studies pertaining to logistics management and logistics analysis. Certifications & Licenses Valid Driver's License; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.
