Engineer - Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton (Finance)

The Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a full-time Engineer to join our team !

This 500+ room property is in Manhattan's Koreatown, a five minutes' walk from the Empire State Building, Macy's Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, and Penn Station!

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the areas of HVAC/electrical/plumbing, from either working in a hotel or building of similar size - it would be considered an asset for this position to have electrical or HVAC certificates! Also needed for this role is full availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:$31.13/hour - $41.51/hour

What will I be doing?

As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
• Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry.
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
