Group President (Finance)
Position Summary:
Reporting to the CEO, Prospiant is seeking a dynamic General Manager to directly manage the North American $85-100 million Commercial and Institutional business unit and its functions including sales and marketing, operations, finance, supply chain, human resources, and engineering. This role presents a unique opportunity for a strategic leader to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence in a rapidly evolving industry. The General Manager will play a critical role in shaping the business focus and solidifying its position as a leader in the greenhouse solutions sector. This leader will engage in strategic decision-making, developing and executing the growth strategy for the business, leveraging core competencies and expanding market participation in these segments.
The role will ideally be based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where the division is based.

Stabilize Financial Performance
Develop and implement a strategic plan aimed at stabilizing and improving the business's financial performance. This includes setting clear revenue targets, improving profitability, and enhancing return on invested capital (ROIC). The focus should be on realistic growth and margin improvement, particularly in the produce segment.
Enhance Market Position and Growth Strategy
Solidify the company's market position by identifying key growth opportunities in the commercial greenhouse sector with a focus on creating a sales culture more focused on hunting.
Strengthen Team and Operational Efficiency
Evaluate and optimize the current organizational structure, ensuring that the right talent is in place. This includes assessing the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring that operational efficiencies are achieved. A focus on developing a strong commercial sales mindset throughout the organization will be critical in driving revenue growth.
Ideal Experience:
General Management Experience
The successful Candidate will have multi-faceted leadership and operational experience including solid business acumen and track record of success in growing a business, improving margin performance, identifying and integrating acquisitions, and developing an organization and structure to drive and support the business.
Relevant Industry Experience
Construction Services industry experience is preferred with Industrial equipment or Food-value chain considered relevant experience from additional industries.
Balanced Operational and Growth Leadership
The Candidate will have an understanding of operational excellence and ability to build process and integrate operations to drive efficiencies. Must bring a track record of accomplishing significant growth within limited time frame.
Financial Acumen
The successful Candidate will have strong financial acumen. She / He will have understanding of the key drivers of profitability and working capital.
Education
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or similar field. MBA preferred.
