Temporary Research Technician: Biomechanics/Glaucoma Research (Finance)
Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of laboratory or research experience. College coursework in a natural or physical science may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis. \n Preferred Qualifications: \n Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics, or a related field. Experience with cell culture, mechanical testing, or OCT imaging is a plus. Key Responsibilities:\n

Perform experiments on iridal muscle forces and deformations in ex vivo tissue and in vivo rabbit models.

Assist with cell culture studies on optic nerve head (ONH) remodeling using 3D hydrogels.
\n
Operate and maintain advanced imaging and biomechanical testing systems
\n
Analyze biomechanical and mechanobiological data.
\n
Maintain laboratory chemical, biological, reagent, and supply inventory.
