Facilities Manager (Finance)

Job Summary
Management of all systems, utilities, suppliers, contractors and personnel associated with the ongoing care and maintenance of the Phoenix and Tempe area facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. As requested, coordinates tenant improvements to the facilities.
2. Be \"on call\" for after-hour problems and emergencies.
3. Coordinates all suppliers, contractors and inspections related to facilities maintenance, e.g., plumbing, electrical doors, fire system, landscape, roofing, painting, janitorial, masonry, plants, flooring, windows, termite protection, water treatment, fire extinguishers, HVAC, parking lots, etc.
4. Maintains a schedule of all maintenance events in the facilities and notifies employees of those events.
5. Maintains current vendor files for both Facilities and Office Services i.e., contracts, specifications and past work performed.
6. Manages all courier and mail services for incoming and outgoing mail.
7. Manages record storage, including inventory control and destruction of records consistent with a record retention schedule.
8. May supervise staff, including: establishing and communicating performance expectations, providing positive and constructive feedback, determining training and development needs and conducting on-the job training. May conduct Individual Development Reviews. May make hiring, discipline and/or termination decisions.
9. Prepares annual facility maintenance budget.
10. Provides for inspection and performance evaluation of all facility maintenance providers.
11. Resolves Phoenix area facility related complaints.
12. Responsible for managing food and beverage vendors, supplies and equipment.
13. Responsible for periodic tests of the elevator and fire alarm systems.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Demonstrated experience managing annual budget.
2. Hands on experience managing vendors, contract providers, etc.
3. High School Diploma
4. Minimum of 5+ years' experience with facilities maintenance.
5. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

1. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
2. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
3. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
4. Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/workday.
5. Will lift, push or pull objects pounds on an occasional basis.
6. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday.
7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
