Human Resources Generalist (Human Resources)
HR Policy Development and Implementation:
Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures to management and employees.
Employee Relations:
Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and provide recommendations for resolution.
Talent Management:
Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for new hires.
Implement and manage talent development programs, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee performance.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops on various HR topics.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports on employee turnover, retention, and other HR-related data.
Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements in HR processes and practices.
Strategic HR Planning:
Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with the company's overall business objectives.
Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide HR insights to support business goals.
Employee Engagement:
Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions to gauge organizational climate and address concerns.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on generalist functions and HR management.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Location: On-site at Maxco Supply, Inc. headquarters.
Schedule: Full-time position, with occasional overtime or additional hours as needed.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the HR Manager
