Deposit Operations Clerk II (Finance)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• May answer a large call volume and then assist the user and/or transfer the call to an appropriate party.
• May perform input of information including account maintenance to certain computer and FIS systems.
• May perform certain FIS security functions and network security functions such as unlocking and/or resetting passwords.
• May perform certain functions including set up of accounts in FIS systems such as Internet Banking.
• May review new or updated deposit account information including IRAs.
• May perform certain functions needed to distribute customer information for internet banking customers, ATM/Debit Card customers, loan customers etc.
• Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE

• Position normally requires a high school diploma or GED plus such practical knowledge and skills as would be learned on the job and through training.
• More than one year of experience is typically required to demonstrate proficiency in assigned tasks.
• Excellent PC skills and keyboarding ability.            
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of FIS data processing system.
• Refers questionable matters to management.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Works in a call center atmosphere. Environment may be noisy.
• Works under close supervision until proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities is demonstrated.
