Machinist (Finance)

Role Summary:

Operates and maintains equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair precision parts. The Machinist interprets blueprints and uses a variety of tools to meet specified dimensions and quality standards. Responsible for the setup, testing, and adjustment of machines, ensuring smooth operation and efficiency in the production process.

Work hours: 1st or 2nd Shift

Pay: 22.00 to 26.00 per hour depending on experience - $1,000 sign on bonus!!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mechanical equipment (lathes, milling machines, grinders) to fabricate, assemble, and repair parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specs to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up, maintain , and service equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Report issues with machinery or parts to supervisors for resolution.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of machining experience
• 1 year of blueprint reading
