Utility Operator (Slice) (Fairview) (Manufacturing)
Partner will provide departmental support to meet crewing needs to fill vacancies by learning and performing all Slice positions. Partner must be qualified in a minimum of 2 positions to be successful in the utility position, but it is preferred that partner is successfully trained in all Slice Positions – Setup, Slicer Operator, Packaging and Case Packer. The Partner will be assigned to act as an operator for call in's, vacations, LOA's etc. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product. Record accurate data on production reports. Must be able to acquire forklift driving license.
Red Nights (Rotating 12-hour night shift; 5:30pm - 5:30am)
Internal candidates:
Pay Scale ($23.33 - $28.37) *pay progression determined by time in position
External candidates:
Starting pay is $23.33/hr, plus $1.00/hr night shift premium pay
