View Point Health is a state agency of Georgia that provides individual and group counseling, medication management, recovery and crisis stabilization services for behavioral health and developmental disabilities.
As part of our ongoing growth as a Community Service Board (CSB), View Point Health is excited to announce we have the honor of being selected as the provider of behavioral health services for a new Recovery Residence located in Lawrenceville, Ga.
This new Recovery Residence is tailored for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (C-SEC). The C-SEC Recovery Residence will offer support to individuals between the ages of 12 -17 who are in emergency state custody, having been recently removed from sexual assault or trafficking situations. Although now safe, these youth will have significant trauma in trying to process what happened and need ample amounts of support and encouragement as they start their road to recovery. This is a high-profile pilot program that will try to bring a light of hope from a horrific event.
The length of stay for the individuals served is 6 months. Our clinical focus for this exciting new program boasts of a blended approach including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT) and Ending the Game (ETG).
Another exciting aspect of this program is that the facility is brand new, beautiful, and state of the art. It is truly the first of its kind in the state of Georgia for this age range and specific population. We are so pleased to be a part of the groundbreaking treatment. The clinical interventions will be delivered via individual clinical services as well as a clinical learning environment provided in a group setting. The clinical interventions will be administered during and after school hours, which is on-site. Clinicians will share a rotation of weekend and holiday coverage. We are hiring full-time, part-time and PRN positions.
While working at this facility, employees will receive:

Basic TF-CT Training
Overview of C-SEC Training
ETG Training
Duties & Responsibilities:
Cover a caseload of 8 to 12 clients entailing:
Initial Clinical Behavioral assessment
Creates and updates Treatment plan.
Individual clinical sessions with completion of documentation.
Facilitation of group with completion of documentation.
Attend treatment team to discuss client progress.
Assist with gathering collateral information.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must be a fully licensed clinician LPC or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
At least two years of experience working with children and adolescents in an inpatient facility.
LPC, LCSW, LAPC, or LMSW license.
Requirements/Competencies:
Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
Requires long periods of sitting/standing.
Must have valid Georgia driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
Other duties as assigned.
