Concierge - The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton (Finance)

The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton is looking to welcome a Concierge to join the team!

This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools, a Dip & Slide splash pad for kids, and 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Savor stunning views, delicious dining options, and endless sunshine in Hollywood, Florida. Our front office team consists of 15+ team members that report to our Director of Front Office Operations.

The ideal candidate holds 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or hospitality related roles. E xtensive knowledge of restaurants, dining, and activities in the local area of Hollywood, Hallandale and Miami. Has experience in guest services and has a passion for hospitality. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work the required shifts.

Shift Pattern:Full flexibility (AM/MID) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. 2 days - 9AM-5PM, 3 days -12:30PM-8:30PM.

Pay Rate:$17.00 per hour and eligible for incentives

What will I be doing?

As a Concierge, you would be responsible for assisting guests with various tasks related to their visit and for providing information about the hotel and the local vicinity in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Provide information, recommendations and booking services for a variety of guest inquiries, including, but not limited to, directions, hours of outlet operation, hotel services, transportation and travel arrangements, tour and event tickets, restaurant reservations, and medical care
• Process and deliver messages for guests
• Retrieve mail, small packages and facsimiles for guests as requested
• Arrange and confirm recreational, business and dining activities both inside and outside the hotel for guests
• Respond to special requests for services including, but not limited to, dentists, doctors, childcare, florists, etc.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Register VIP guests, as needed
• Promote Company marketing programs and distribute printed materials, as needed
