Position Description
As a Database Controller you will be responsible for compiling data and developing databases to meet operational needs and maintaining Microsoft (MS) Access database applications as well. This also includes the administration of all systems and databases for Retail Accounting as well as providing software related technical support and immediate problem resolution for issues related to operational databases.
Associate's degree in an Information Technology related field or equivalent analytical experience
4 years of experience with integrated systems and
4 years of experience performing advanced functions within MS Office applications and
4 years of experience with database development
Advanced computer and electronics knowledge including experience with hardware, software, and computer systems and processes
In depth advanced knowledge of MS Access database design techniques, tools, and principles including knowledge of SQL/pass-through queries, Visual Basic programming, development of complex formulas and expressions such as nested IIF statements and MID functions
Strong written communication skills

Ability to demonstrate creativity in problem solving
Advanced computer skills and the ability to keep up to date with changing technologies

Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel and Word

General knowledge of regulations including but not limited to HIPAA, PCI, PII requirements as they relate to specific business processes within department
General knowledge of SOX requirements as they relate to specific business processes within Retail Accounting department
