We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that our residents deserve.

Job Description:
As a Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the facility's common areas, residents' rooms, and ensuring proper care and handling of laundry for the residents. Your duties will include cleaning, sanitizing, and assisting with laundry services to help maintain a comfortable and clean living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize residents' rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry, including personal clothing, bedding, and linens.
• Ensure laundry equipment is well-maintained and report any malfunctions.
• Restock cleaning and laundry supplies as needed.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clutter-free environment throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly to any housekeeping or laundry requests from residents or staff.
• Work closely with the nursing and other support staff to ensure a high-quality living experience for residents.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in housekeeping, laundry services, or a similar role preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and respectful towards residents, ensuring their privacy and dignity are upheld.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning and laundry tasks, including lifting and bending.
