Sanitation Technician - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)
General Summary
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for performing duties related to sanitizing machinery, other equipment and the facility. They are also responsible for assigning job duties to Sanitation Assistants, working with the master sanitation schedule to ensure all sanitation duties are completed thoroughly and efficiently.
An employee working in this area is expected to operate as a member of a team, which includes assisting one another as needed. In the absence of the Sanitation Assistant either another Sanitation Assistant or an employee cross trained in that skill and that understands the food safety job requirements will perform this job function.
Duties and Responsibilities
Verify and perform daily, weekly, and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation, including applying cleaning agents, washing, sweeping, and mopping.Adhere to plant Master Sanitation Schedule.Dismantle and reassemble equipment as necessary to ensure a thorough sanitation is completed.Verify what cleaning agents are used, why we use them, and understand the proper amounts and application process. Ensure adherence to proper MSDS requirements.Maintain housekeeping, GMPs, and safety within the facility.Perform other duties as needed or assigned by management.
Sign-on Bonus - We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of $1000.00. This bonus will be paid out as follows: $250 at 90 days and $750 at six months of employment.
This signing bonus is taxable, and all regular payroll taxes will be withheld.
