Onboarding Coordinator (Manufacturing)
As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be the Human Resources contact person for new hires after they are hired by our Talent Acquisition team. You will maintain prompt communication with the new hires prior to their start date to ensure that they have the necessary information to come prepared for new hire training and keep our hiring managers and operational leaders up to date on hiring. You will also perform behind the scenes tasks to make sure that the organization is ready to support our new staff members. You will provide a friendly, smooth onboarding experience, and support the new hire through the new hire training.

Job Duties:
New Hire Communication
Makes sure all new staff are given, and receive, instructions on New Hire Training. Provides clear, warm and thorough communication as to what to expect on day one and the first week of training.Maintains the New Hire Training Roster.Coordinates setting up hotel accommodation for new staff who live outside the Twin Cities metro area who are attending in-person New Hire training.Communicates to Operations Leaders the start day and time of new hires and when to expect the new hire at their office location for onsite training.Communicate to Operations Leaders any ADA accommodations that are needed for any applicable new hire (may work in conjunction with Leave and Accommodations Specialist).
Leading first half of New Hire Training on Day #1
Arriving at the training facility early to make sure that the room is clean and orderly, to setup equipment and make sure the equipment is running properly, setup name tents and new hire handouts and setting up the coffee and snacks.Provide a warm welcome to staff at training and make sure new staff feel comfortable.Presents the HR specific sections of the new hire training.Collect I9 forms and documentation for new hires who have attended in person. Completes the I9 form and E-Verify.Introduce the remaining presenters who join the new hire training until the lunch break.
Administrative Duties
Submits background checks for all candidates who have been offered a position.Submits tickets to IT for IT setup for each new hire.Ensures that all new staff members complete their I9.Prepares new hire packets for each weekly training (training handouts, name tents, etc.).Ensures that all required information is completed in each new hires KPAY profile.Audits employee files.Send out Sexual Exploitation forms for all new clinical in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.BA or BS degree is preferred in Human Resources or business-related area.Experience working with HRIS Systems such as UKG, Kronos, Ultimate, Workday and PeopleSoft is preferred.
