Manager, Human Resources (Midland or Delaware Basin Region) (Finance)
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Human Resources Manager serves as a subject matter expert in general HR matters, including Employee Relations, Employee Development, Compliance, Workforce Planning, and Onboarding and other related human resource activities for employees in the Delaware Basin region. This position reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources and will be located in Midland, TX or Delaware Basin Region. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Develop and maintain professional relationships with assigned client group and the HR team • Provide guidance and support to client group to address employee relations issues, coaching managers in resolving performance issues and keeping management apprised of issues and trends • Ability to adjust communications/influence to effectively communicate with employees at various levels from hourly to senior business executive to solve complex HR issues collaboratively • Interpret company policy and provide consultative support and counsel to all employees to ensure clear communication and understanding • Collaborate with compensation group to offer compensation recommendations and work with hiring manager to ensure effective delivery of merit increases and/or compensation adjustments due to promotions, lateral moves, or organizational changes • Collaborate with client group to provide guidance and assistance with employee transfers, promotions, terminations, or other employee changes not related to an open requisition • Independent decision making, self-motivated, sound judgment, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Assist and support, as needed, with the Talent Acquisition process • Coordinate with benefits group to administer requests for employee leaves of absence and other employee benefit issues • Provide assistance with special projects • Perform other duties as assignedThe successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in human resources/employee relations is required
• Ability to travel 25-50% to provide support to customer/client groups is required
• Demonstrated knowledge handling employee relations issues and complaints and coaching managers to a successful resolution is required
• Experience in the energy and / or oil and gas industry is preferred
• Strong computer skills with specific experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability to work required hours in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and objectivity
• People oriented and results driven
• Competent in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
• College degree and/or PHR/SHRM certification is preferred
• Experience with Oracle's Human Capital Management systems or other HRMS systems is preferred
