UKG Training Specialist (Finance)
Essential Positions Responsibilities - This is a Salary Non-Exempt position.
Provides training to facilities for UKG. Create training materials, user guides and online training as needed. Identify gaps in skills and knowledge among end- users. Gather feedback through surveys and adjusting training as needed. Provide new hire training on how to use UKG. Attend CPL/HO Orientation to train the basics of UKG. Work schedule may need to be adjusted to accommodate night shift. Utilize instructional design principles and multimedia tools to create engaging learning experience. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce that meets the evolving needs of the organization.
Document all UKG processes. Create user guides for UKG systems and deliver instructions through remote learning, one-on-one training and on onsite instruction. Tailor instructions to meet the needs of each location.
Provide end-user level support for UKG processes. Support end-user for UKG systems processes. Educate the end-user as to the cause of the error and provide training to prevent future errors. Determine if training should be conducted for the end-user or all facilities based on the error.
Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. As a member of the Team, fosters strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues and actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.
Simmons Operating systems principles and objectives: Is familiar with Simmons' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN); understands the responsibility to maintain familiarity with the systems and this position's role in support of these systems - including a consideration of the impact of individual actions on the systems and the responsibility to communicate concerns and improvement ideas.

Physical Activities: Enters and locates information on a computer. Visually verifies information, often in small print. Communicates with Customers, Vendors, or Employees via telephone, in person, and/or electronic mail. May present information to small or large groups. Must be able to work in various temperatures. Move about in a manufacturing environment and surrounding property.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): As required by facility.
Travel: Will need to be onsite SWC to VBC (SWMO, NEOK, NWA, RV areas) monthly for training. Will be in KS, IA, East Coast twice per year unless needed more.
Training Experience: 2-5 years of experience in training and development or a related field. Experience with a variety of training methodologies, presenting. and training to large groups of team members.
Industry Experience: Preference for food processing organization.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education: Prior knowledge of UKG systems. Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
