TASK DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the KAF Directorate of Logistics and Support, the Aircraft Maintenance Program Advisor shall provide aviation maintenance program advisory assistance and training to the KAF on all maintenance and maintenance management and quality programs. The incumbent will assist in the development, implementation and coordination of aviation maintenance programs and procedures in accordance with KAMP procedures. TASK REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide technical expertise, advice and training to the KAF officers and enlisted personnel of the directorate of logistics and support on aircraft technical and quality matters. 2. Review, evaluate, and advise KAF managers on KAF policy and procedures. 3. Provide assistance, technical advice and training to KAF officers, enlisted personnel and civilians in the development, implementation and coordination of programs required for effective management of aircraft weapons systems. 4. Provide assistance in analyzing problem areas and develop/recommend corrective measures to resolve deficiencies. 5. Support OJT and cross training of KAF personnel. MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A minimum of 10 years' experience in an aviation maintenance technical field with at least four (4) years' experience in billets related to the implementation of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series. 2. The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, schematics, and the detailed instructions contained in such documents, and relating this information to KAF personnel. 3. Management level administrative ability and be capable of relating detailed instructions to foreign nationals. 4. Must be computer literate and familiar with commercial word processing programs. 5. A US Secret security clearance is required.
