Purpose of Job: Orders and merchandises products including stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, storage room organization, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.
Job Duties:
- Orders, fills, and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
- Sells and executes all promotions.
- Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
- Develops good customer relations.
- Services all customers as scheduled.
- Orders product and /or runs invoices.
- Cleans equipment and maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion – rotates stock.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered, in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work weekdays.
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good driving habits.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
- Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
- Ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly (67%-100%) required to stand, lift up to 85 pounds, and push/pull 300 – 2400 pounds with the assistance of a pallet jack.
- Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk.
- Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb and sit.
