The Howmet engines business produces world-class aerospace engine components, including investment castings, fasteners, rings and forgings. Howmet Engine Systems is currently seeking an experienced College Intern to join our team in Hampton, Virginia. Weare seeking individuals who have a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a manufacturing environment, as well as the passion to put that experience to work to lead activities and/or support plant location team to achieve manufacturing excellence. Summary
The Engineer Intern position will be located in Hampton, VA. We are seeking highly motivated and energetic students to join our team as an Engineer Summer Intern. The program consists of 10-14 weeks of structured hands-on training involving plant tours, seminars, networking events, speaker training, and a project selected to add direct value to the business. This position will assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery performance through process control and product improvement initiatives. At the conclusion of the program, interns will present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors. An internship at Howmet Engine Systems will provide an invaluable experience that you can utilize in any role, and it's Howmet Aerospace's goal to evaluate our interns for potential entry-level openings.
