Project Coordinator - This position is onsite in Allenton WI (Engineering)
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Project Management Director, the Project Coordinator will assist in managing many of the details that are involved in Maysteel's internal processes that interface with both our internal and external customers. This position will coordinate various projects and may serve as liaison between production and our clients and contractors, communicating real-time project status updates to all participants. This role oversees and organizes information to increase the efficiency of the company's projects and overall departmental project management duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Help field day to day questions, comments, and concerns from active projects.
2. Follow up internally & externally to acquire appropriate answers to key project milestones.
3. Create project trackers and timelines when applicable and manage accordingly using project management developed tool set from PM Director.
4. Assist in keeping project trackers up to date.
5. Update all relevant customer portals (excluding shipment & AR).
6. Assist in providing executive level forecast information and industry insight where applicable.
7. Help maintain the file management structure for the entire project management directory.
8. Assist with NPD Tracker Updates
9. Production and support liaison – coordinates material needs and scheduling between US factories and EU partner plants.
10. Helps to manage specific customer's OOR's (open order reports) and ensure alignment with Maysteel's OOR's for any requested changes. Requires inputs from Sales, Production, and site PSM to align ROJ (required on job) data, status, and notes.
11. Work with the plants to solidify delivery schedules.
12. When applicable, track delivery schedules and communicate with the customer and/or job site.
13. Provide support during Customer Service absences to other plant locations.
14. Facilitate project meetings as necessary based on the fidelity of the project.
15. When applicable, assist with Change Orders, RMA's and ensure cohesiveness amongst general contractors.
16. Assist with Accounts Receivable shipping / billing disputes when required on projects.
17. When applicable, attend weekly customer meetings and cascade information accordingly.
18. Assist in obtaining freight quotes for our DAMAC products.
19. Perform other related project management activities as requested.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum an undergraduate degree preferred in Business Administration or Engineering, with two to four years related experience in a manufacturing atmosphere (preferred sheet metal environment); or “equivalent experience”. SCOPE: This position reports directly to the Project Management Director. The position has no direct reports.
