Job Overview: The Driver Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for designing and executing strategy for the attraction, recruitment, assessment, and selection of qualified driver talent for the Linde Gases US business. The Lead will be responsible for steering the successful direction of the recruiting strategy for the Driver Talent Acquisition team. The successful person for this position can be located either in or near The Woodlands, TX area where they will work an in-office hybrid schedule or can work remotely if not local to a Linde facility. Primary Responsibilities: - Manage the overall driver recruiting process end to end for Linde Gases US. - Directly responsible for all recruiting and relationship building for your own designated region or territory. - Mentor junior staff and create opportunities for career development and growth. - Proactively anticipate any increase in spending and communicate with regional leadership and TA Director. - Lead continuing improvement efforts and encourage Team Members to bring forward any ideas and observations. - Partner with non-driver recruiting team to help support sourcing efforts during periods where driver requisitions are low volume. - Manage and update reports and metrics for all driver data nationally. This reporting includes but is not limited to: number of openings by region, time to fill/contact, advertising spend, and other reporting requests by hiring managers and TA Director. - Build relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders. - Ensure successful utilization of approved third-party agencies, vendors and tools. This includes researching and identifying new vendors that may create efficiencies in the cost or process of the driver recruiting. - Provide regular Driver Talent Acquisition strategy updates to the Talent Acquisition Director. - Develop and maintain a pipeline and/or candidate pool for hard to fill areas. - Adapt and update staffing plan and recruitment strategy, as required. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience. - Minimum of 5 years, high volume recruiting experience. - Demonstrated ability to successfully develop recruiting strategies in challenging environments, as well as proven track record on execution of those strategies. - Experience in high volume recruiting of drivers is required. - Experience in industrial gas/chemical industry is required. - Strong project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities. - Proven track record of successful consultative approach with stakeholders. - Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding employment practices. - Advanced knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, specifically Tenstreet. - Experienced with various types of ad campaign products and demonstrated knowledge of successful application based on need. - Moderate to advanced excel skills, including but not limited to: data filtering, tables, sorting, formulas, etc. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Previous experience conducting technical and behavioral base candidate interviews. - Successful track record of driving process improvement.
