JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Mechanic Lead Drywall Framer is responsible for the effective and accurate performance of all assigned responsibilities including but not limited to:
Supervision of field personnel
Providing expertise in performing journeyman-level drywall framer duties.
Review project plan and blueprints.
Perform layout with drawings, coordination drawings or model, generate RFI's for conflicts or differing conditions
Estimate time, material, equipment and supplies needed.
Track production of all phases of framing, drywall and finishing
Develop and manage JHA's, ensure crews are working safely and properly trained
Enter daily time in Exaktime (Swinerton timekeeping system) for crew
Maintains records of operations.
Request supplies and equipment.
Ensure work areas are properly maintained.
Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues.
Consulting with Mechanic Foreman and contractors in a professional manner.
Ensure jobs are completed in due time and ensure work in performed according to Swinerton standards. Discipline, mentor and monitoring performance of employees.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Mechanic Drywall Framer or similar role.
Ability to learn new Management skills with attention to detail.
Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
Display basic computer skills
Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions.
