Equipment Operations Coordinator - 1st Shift (Finance)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in forklift operation and ensure that all team members are equipped with the skills needed to operate forklifts safely. You will be responsible for conducting hands-on training sessions and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. You will be the go-to person for all equipment-related questions and concerns, providing support to all team members. We pride ourselves on maintaining a focus on continuous learning and improvement. Responsibilities -

• Conduct accurate classroom training and certification for equipment operators. Complete all required documentation
• Be a mentor for your team, leading by example in all areas, including: performance, attendance, attitude, and behavior.
• Be a leader regarding safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Planning daily workloads, sorting daily pick labels, and delegating tasks.
• Organize workload, communicate goals, and deadlines to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, HSE/GED, or technical school diploma required
  • Would consider a combination of education and related experience as well
• 1+ year of distribution facility case picking experience.
• 1+ year of leadership and/or training experience.
• 6+ months of experience with the following - order picker, sit down forklift, walkie-rider, and Drexel equipment.
• Knowledge of basic distribution facility safety practices.
• Knowledge of LogPro preferred
• Microsoft Office skills required
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and navigate difficult conversations.
• Capable of learning and working in all departments within the facility.

Work Environment

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, steadily, throughout shift.
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift.
• Temperature fluctuations match outside environment (hot outside, hot inside - cold outside, cold inside)

Pay, Shift, & Location

• $21.50/hr
• 1 st Shift - 5:00am to 1:30pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed.
