Memory Care Coordinator (Personal Services)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises employees in the Memory Care and/or Nursing Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
High School DiplomaCertified Dementia Professional or equivalent required.CNA, LPN or Certified Activity Professional PreferredAbility to demonstrate company competencies and values.Three to five years related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.Prior knowledge and specific education related to Alzheimers and Dementia EMR experienceDemonstrated ability to write and read simple sentences in English.Demonstrated ability to use reason and sound judgment.
