Accounting Clerk I (Documented Disability Required) - GSI (Education)
Position Summary Perform general office tasks such as, maintaining and filing office documentation, verifying various accounting documents and entering accounts payable documents in to the LIMCRS accounting system, as well as, the SunTrust Enterprise Spend Platform. Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) 1. Verify that purchase orders and requisitions match the invoice, as well as, CLIN. Ensure job IDs from purchase orders are assigned to the correct requisitions. 2. Verify that the correct organization is being billed. 3. Verify that the purchase, requisitions, and invoice match ESP. 4. Ensure all documents are correctly assembled and forwarded for payment. 5. Maintain and file office documentation for the future archiving. 6. Ensure completeness and accuracy of data in accordance to accounting procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance High School Diploma or GED required. 1-3 Years' experience in a related field preferred. No professional certifications are required for this position. The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties. The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check. Additionally, must be able to pass a federal background check as required. Required experience with Microsoft Access database and Excel spreadsheets. Microsoft office system preferred. Information Privacy and Security This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI. Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions The associate is required to lift 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Walking or standing to a significant degree involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling. The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
