Summary: As a Welding & Fabrication Specialist, you will use advanced welding techniques (MIG and Stick) to create and repair metal structures. You will read and interpret blueprints, tackle custom fabrications, and ensure every weld meets quality standards. This role involves both shop and field work, collaborating with a passionate team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform advanced welding techniques (MIG and Stick) to create and repair metal structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication.
• Tackle custom fabrications and ensure every weld meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and truck, including regular maintenance.
• Install in the field what you design and build in the shop, from start to finish.

Qualifications:
• Fabricating and welding experience.
• Preference for reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
• Installing in the field what you design and build in the shop; start to finish.
• Keep a clean and tidy workspace and truck. Keep on top of truck maintenance.
• 4G or 3G certification.
• Previous D1.1 certification and the ability to pass an in-house D1.1 certification.
• MIG and Stick welding experience.
Experience We Look For:

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Critical thinking skills and problem-solving.
• Flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
• This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with overtime requirements; weekends as needed.
• Travel can be 1-2 times a month for a few nights to a week at a time.

Pay: $26-32 an hour DOE
Earn an additional $1 per hour for each passed 3G and 4G GMAW certification.
