Federal Reserve Financial Services - Systems Operations Strategy Analyst (Project Management)
We are a dynamic hybrid workplace environment that requires at least 2 days a week in the office.
As a Federal Reserve System National Business Line, it is standard practice to post FRFS positions in all twelve Districts to provide transparency and equitable opportunities for all FRS employees to apply. Your role as an Analyst
Serve as the Payment Operations point of contact to FRFS Finance and provide strategic input and/or direction to Payment Operations Officer team for finance-related considerations
Coordinate with Payment Operations leaders to support finance-related requests (e.g., travel forecasting and tracking, AA/cost center maintenance, budget variances)
Build a strong understanding of the overall Payment Operations functions and advise on key budget impacts or opportunities
Serves as a “consultant” to management by completing projects and preparing recommendations for improving current practices or implementing new programs
Participate in Operations strategy, objectives, and key results processes and periodic reporting
Lead/support Payment Operations Group needs (e.g., event planning/support, process documentation)
Coordinates with Operations Data Analytics team on quantitative and/or qualitative analysis; identifies impacts and trends; monitors data; prepares reports and/or visualizations; collects and analyzes data or information; draws conclusions; presents results, recommendations and/or solutions
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience
3-6yrs experience
Strong knowledge of budget and accounting principles
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work independently with general supervision, and support projects/processes.
Strong project management skills, including organization, planning and execution, analytical and problem-solving skills
Independent working
Strong preference to hire in Atlanta, Minneapolis or Kansas City.
Hybrid, on-site requirement will be determined by hiring district
