MIC - Inventory Control (Finance)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for accuracy and integrity of the inventories at MIC Brenham. The Inventory Control Specialist develops and directs the cycle counts and maintains the records for audit purposes. This position is responsible for calculating the values of finished goods inventories. The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the building Lead Man.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES
• Development of the cycle count reports
• Corrective actions for prevention of future issues discovered during cycle counting
• Calculation of finished goods values for financial reporting
• Responsible for the storage, issue and receipts and staging of the inventories
• Support reporting activities including quarterly usage and age reports, across the dock information for savings and month end inventory balances
• Willingness to work overtime, holidays, weekends as required
• Other duties as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• MRP and ERP system knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand the manufacturing process
• Supervisory skills
• Computer and Excel Skills a must
Education
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
• Five plus years Warehouse and Inventory Control experience

Can travel to the Customer or other MIC locations to assist with quality control issues
