Accounting Intern (Manufacturing)

Position Summary

This position works closely with the Corporate and Shared Service Accounting teams. This position will assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries and data entry. You will have guidance from a mentor on the Corporate Accounting and Shared Service team as well as be included in Menasha Corporation's Intern Program, which focuses on connection, experience building, and professional development.

Essential to this Position

The Corporate Accounting Intern will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Accounting and Shared Service teams with projects through the summer of 2025 with the potential of working a limited amount of hours during the school year.

Areas of Learning/Responsibilities

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Perform data entry into fixed assets and other accounting systems
• Ability to assist on various projects throughout Corporate Accounting
• Complete journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts where assigned.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related degree
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel
• Prior work experience preferred
• Must be a self-starter with a desire to learn and try new tasks
