Engineering Internship (Finance)
We have mechanical, electrical, industrial, environmental, chemical, research, design, and product engineering internship opportunities available in Chicago, Illinois, Hammond, Indiana, Kansas City, Kansas, Keokuk, Iowa, Columbus, Ohio, Westchester, Pennsylvania, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, Petersburg, Virginia, Anmoore, West Virginia, Greenville, South Carolina, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and Winnipeg, Canada.
Responsibilities
• Assist engineers with design, analysis, and simulation of railcar components and systems using CAD and CAE tools.
• Conduct experiments and tests on railcar prototypes and samples in the laboratory and field.
• Collect, process, and interpret data from tests and simulations using statistical and graphical methods.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on the results and findings of the projects.
• Collaborate with other interns, engineers, and managers on cross-functional teams and initiatives.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulations in all activities.
Requirements
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical.
• Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CAD software.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Ability to travel to other sites.
