Process Tech (Mill) 07:00 a.m. - 05:30 p.m. (Education)
The Process Tech will be responsible for operating specialized pieces of equipment and working alongside the manufacturing team to ascertain high-volume production. Successful candidates must have attention to detail, ability to handle constant change, and excellent time management skills. The Process Tech will need to be able to learn quickly and follow instructions to consistently create a high-quality product. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Operate machines that perform machining functions.Support all areas within the assigned department.Be clear of the hazards in the machine shop and follow all safety procedures.Operate machines under the guidance of a supervisor.Read blueprints and specifications and make suggestions for improvements.Be familiar with the machining process.Take apart machines if necessary for maintenance or repair.Check for acceptable quality standards. Education and Experience High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent desired. 3 years of experience in machine operations or manufacturing. Monitoring equipment in a painting capacity helpful Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment for long periods of time.Ability to stand for 10 to 12 hours a day, five days a week including some Saturdays.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to support multiple production tasks; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-60 pounds.Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard.
