Operator 1 - 1st Shift (Origination) (Finance)
1. Assemble parts according to provided prints.
2. Insert assembled interiors into plastic containers.
3. Perform self and peer quality inspection during assembly to ensure quality is maintained.
4. Alert Cell Lead, Set Up and/or Supervisor to any issues with safety within the cell and quality of product being assembled.
5. Work in various cells or on machines throughout shift.
6. Verify parts and material to the work order.
7. Calculate Cycle Time (takt) for the work order in order to meet production needs.
8. Become proficient in the use of basic hand tools and the following hand tools: rivet gun, handheld sonic welder, hot air welder, glue gun, glue line and manual hot wire bender.
9. Gain operational knowledge of baler, drill press and band saw.
10. Complete and pass Print Drawing training, Tape Measure training and 17-21 Day training
11. Complete all paperwork fully and properly for the assigned tasks.
12. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
13. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
14. Other duties as assigned.
