Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible to provide operational leadership to individual contributors to ensure the execution of daily task activities, including customer order management, monitoring purchasing process of finish goods from suppliers, and on time delivery to our customers. Other responsibilities includemonitoring inventory levels,overseeing staff members performance to ensure that they are meeting productivity goals, andcoordinating with other departments to ensure that products are shipped on time and within budget.
The supply chain supervisor is also responsible formaintaining good customer relationships,developing a team of Supply Chain Planner/Buyers, and hiring and training staff. Identifies opportunities to update or improve Customer Service procedures, lead, guide, and mentor the Supply Chain Team to effectively handle the inquiries, requests and needs of our customers within Bose Standards.
