Maintenance Tech (Maintenance)
Position summary
As the Maintenance Technician you willmaintain maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment. Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas. They will also maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector and any other vendor or jurisdictions governing the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees, coordinates, and completes appropriate tasks to maintain the facilities at the community.Completes tasks including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, maintaining the grounds, repairing electrical, painting, plumbing, cleaning gutters, HVAC, appliances, and coordination of trash removal.Works with community Executive Director to create and implement a plan of correction for any maintenance deficiencies that may be noted during facility surveys by government agencies.Completes routine inspections of life safety systems.Coordinates the maintenance and repairs of resident units. Also, coordinates and completes necessary tasks and any repairs to prepare a unit for a new move-in.Coordinates and maintains the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
