Job Summary
Job Description
Performs all electrical duties as required at journey level to maintain all Power Plant equipment. Includes but not limited to testing and repairing motors, testing and rebuilding breakers (6900 volts to 48 volts), reading and troubleshooting from electrical points and working with local and remote circuits
Job Qualifications: Required experience includes:
High school diploma, GED equivalent.
Electrical experience
Good knowledge of basic math, reading and writing skills.
Ability to use all hand tools and other various tools.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic computer skills.
Preferred experience includes:
•Operating and mechanical maintenance experience in a fossil fueled power plant or other industrial plant is preferred.
•Experience in a solid fueled fossil plant or an industrial plant performing electrical maintenance activities including trouble shooting, reading electrical prints, electrical repairs, etc. is highly desirable.
**All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS /MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position. POSS / MASS exams are administered on an as-needed basis by Human Resources and all communication concerning the testing is sent to the candidates email address provided during the application process.
