Colson Group USA has an opening for a Paralegal. In this position you will provide legal administrative support services including document preparation and review; research, contract management, corporate governance, and filing preparations. This role is located in our Chicago Oakbrook Terrace corporate office. This role will interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:

NDA review / tracking
Power of attorney review / tracking
Contract reviews (customers, suppliers, leases, etc.)
Manage / oversee legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, new company start ups
US corporate governance (oversee D&O appointments, LLC agreements, own the corporate organization structure chart)
Work with global GM's / legal counsel on local corporate governance matters
Coordinate responses to Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer information requests
Coordinate intellectual property filings; track IP
Work with HR on human resource matters
Liaises with external legal counsel
Drafts legal documents for review
Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provides written analysis.
Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves legal files
