Senior Social Media Manager (Project Management)

Through both an increased investment in and an organizational prioritization of social media, Kimberly-Clark's North American brands have committed to evolving their social presence and strategies. In support of that commitment, we're looking for a seasoned social-savvy expert with proven experience in developing and executing social media strategies for large brands, creating engaging content, and maintaining the brand's voice across a variety of platforms. With a thumb on the pulse of cultural trends and sharp social instincts, the Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for turning content and platform insights into resonant creative, activating our audiences through effective consumer engagement in partnership with our community management teams, and elevating the relevance of our portfolio of iconic brands.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives, including content calendars, campaign roadmaps, and platform-specific approaches for optimal engagement
Partner with brand team & media team counterparts on development of creative content briefs, agency direction, content coordination, and holistic performance reporting, ensuring consistent quality across all deliverables
Own the creation and management of organic social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including cohort identification, boosting budget allocation, audience targeting, and ROI optimization
In partnership with Social Media Analysts, define social media metrics and create detailed performance reports for brand team leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations for strategy refinement & creative optimization
Establish and maintain brand voice guidelines across all social channels while adapting content style for platform-specific audiences and trends
Cultivate relationships with internal marketing services teams, agency, platform & industry partners, and key stakeholders to develop collaborative content opportunities and expand brand reach
Monitor emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, implementing innovative approaches to keep the brand at the forefront of digital engagement
Support crisis communication protocols for social media channels, including response strategies and stakeholder communication during sensitive situations
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, PR, and Customer Service teams to ensure aligned messaging and integrated campaign execution
Manage the sourcing, curation & deployment of User Generated Content (UCG) & Employee Generated Content (ECG)

In one of our professional roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing or related field
6+ years' experience in a relevant social role, with a minimum of 3 years in a strategic or client services role on a social team (not just community management or social production)
Background in social content strategy, organic, paid and earned/influencer marketing with a history of developing social strategy and driving results across all facets of social media management, including social listening, community management, content strategy, and analytics.
Deep understanding of the social media landscape, social platform algorithms, and advanced native platform features.
Excellent communication/presentation skills; ability to inform, influence and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels. Ability to story tell well via PowerPoint.
Experience with social listening tools and track record of applying listening insights to work
Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at various levels of seniority across a highly matrixed organization.

Salary Range: $106,000 - $131,000 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position is eligible for overtime pay and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year. You'll also enjoy a full benefits package, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
