Corporate Quality Assurance Manager (Project Management)

Majors Plastics, a 100% employee-owned plastics molding company, is looking for a Corporate Quality Assurance Manager to provide management direction to all facets of the quality organization. Ensure the quality system is effectively established and maintained; report on the performance of this system and review its results. Provide input and support to manufacturing to help meet and exceed customer expectations.

Essential Job Functions
1. Document all elements of the quality policy, distribute and update accordingly.
2. Provide quality reporting to appropriate individuals and organizations.
3. Provide support to manufacturing through written procedures and quality audits.
4. Provide training and coaching support to sufficiently allow for qualified individuals to perform their quality functions.
5. Act as a quality liaison during customer visits, off-site meetings, audits, tours and all essential email/voice communications and replies.
6. Develop and implement audit procedures that provide clear self-assessments or the organization's performance.
7. Train Quality personnel, administer company policies and safety procedures throughout company.
8. Coordinate procurement / repair / modification of gauges and measuring systems used by the Quality Assurance department.
9. Organize, chair and document periodic management review meetings with executive staff to satisfy ISO requirements.
10. Staff and oversee all FAIR / PPAP / IQ-OQ-PQ and other now / changed product validations.
11. Oversee / staff C.A.P.A. program to insure timely replies and successful implementations of corrective actions in response to customer complaints and audit findings.
12. Build quality program for all products produced through drawing interpretation, inspection reports, PFMEA, risk analysis, PPAPs, CpK studies, SPCX, etc.
13. Oversee the successful functioning of the quality management system to ensure customer satisfaction.
14. Any other duties assigned by upper management.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Quality Control at the Engineer or Manager level.
2. Experience in gauge control, statistical analysis, and problem analysis.
3. Experience with ISO 9001:2015 program required.
4. A two (2) year technical degree is preferred but experience and education can be substituted.
5. Basic computer skill with knowledge of MS Windows and Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
1. Normal office environment with routine periods of sitting, walking, or standing.
2. The ability to travel between facilities and to customer sites.
