Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for the Spring Season of 2025 to work on timber removal and road construction projects in remote areas of Northern California. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating logging and road construction equipment safely and efficiently in challenging outdoor environments.

Essential Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and graders for logging and road construction.
Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
Work closely with other crew members to meet project goals and deadlines.
Report equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Assist in other tasks on-site as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
Ability to work in remote locations and challenging outdoor conditions.
Knowledge of logging and road construction equipment preferred.
Ability to perform minor repairs and troubleshooting on equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Travel:

Travel required to various remote job sites in Northern California.
Must be willing to stay out of town M-F, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
