McKay Creek Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregiver to join our team. The caregiver will provide personalized care and support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for senior care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary monitoring as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
Help residents with mobility, including transferring from beds to wheelchairs.
Monitor residents' physical and mental health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Support residents with toileting and personal hygiene needs.
Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and room tidying.
Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living (preferred but not required).
Ability to lift, move, and support residents as needed.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic understanding of elderly care and safety procedures.
